My name is Sigbjørn Soltvedt, together with my wife Asta Soltvedt we run the company “Impression Of Silk Pleieprodukter AS”.
The company is a Norwegian importer and dealer of Iv San Bernard.
Large parts of our lives have consisted of, and still consist of, the presence of both dogs and cats. For the past 10 years I
have had a particular interest in Bichon Havanais and have been breeding the breed.

I myself have used the products of Iv San Bernard for over 11 years, for both exhibition and everyday use. I was introduced to
Iv San Bernard by Yvonne and Peter Frederiksen in Denmark. In 2011 I bought a breeding female to be used in my own bree-
ding, with the purchase I also gained two good friends. I usually visit Peter and Yvonne once a year and often use the time to
discuss experiences, learning and the latest news about ISB. Peter and Yvonne’s passion and knowledge rubbed off on me.
Over the years they have taught me a lot about ISB and how to use it in different ways.

The company Impression Of Silk Pleieprodukter has its origins in January 2016. It began with selling products to friends
and acquaintances who were involved with dogs and exhibitions. During this period, I used my own dogs to prove what ISB’s
products were capable of when it came to skin and fur. The demand for ISB products increased
and I started an online store to be able to sell the products to the whole of Norway. I understood
early in the process that I had to familiarize myself with marketing and therefore started using
Facebook and Instagram to market the products. My daughter had interest in design and she was
good at editing photos, this came in handy when I had to market.
I find that the quality of the products makes ISB a winning concept. When it comes to the sale
of ISB products, it has resulted in increased sales every year, despite the challenging times that
have been. This is due to the many loyal customers who spread the word about the good ISB pro-
ducts, this has also increased the market share here in Norway.

The customer group has a wide spectrum. It consists of everything from dog groomers, online
shops, clients with family dogs and cats, to clients with show dogs and cats.

In the autumn of 2017, I became Norwegian Importer of Iv San Bernard. To acquire more know-
ledge I have been to Italy once and recently I was in Spain for more training. This has become
a great interest for me, it is therefore rewarding to learn more about Cosmetology, about the
products and SPA treatments etc. The reason it is so interesting is the ideology of ISB and
how they develop products. ISB develops products on the animals’ premises. This crea-
tes security for both animal and owner and assurance that the products are of the best
quality. I think it is important to acquire new knowledge. This gives me the opportunity
to help dogs with skin problems, but also to help dogs and cats choose the right
products for the care of their skin and fur, to have healthy skin and fur throughout
their lives.
I am forward-looking and want to increase sales and market
share in Norway. I will therefore have several stands at
both dog and cat exhibitions. I will also continue to help
dogs who have challenges with itching, rashes and
other skin problems so that they can have a better Sigbjorn Soltvedt
life.
