The idea of working in a pet world was held in my mind
already in my childhood when I was making clothes for
my cat and washing him every second month making my
parents think I am a little bit crazy. Dreaming of having
my own business, I established my first company with
an aim to sell high quality exclusive pet clothes and
accessories in an online shop in 2008. That is how my
e-shop “BIRMA.LV” was registered in September 2008.

In 2010 I started to participate in dog and cat shows as
a merchant, where the clients gave me the idea to sell
professional pet cosmetics and where I understood that
I really need to launch my shop as soon as possible. The
plan was realised in 2014 and first BIRMA PETS shop
& grooming salon was launched. I had a long way until
2017, when we had a lucky chance to visit the home of Iv
San Bernard in Florence and where we had an opportunity
to become a part of a big family and got distributor rights
for Latvia. 5 years later the news from Autumn 2022
made me really cry from happiness, because Birma PETS
became an official distributor of Iv San Bernard in Latvia,
Lithuania and Estonia.

Today I have constantly growing chain of grooming salons
and a Grooming School in Latvia that was launched in
August 2021. We have to acknowledge the progress we
made, but understand that we still have a long way to
go and a lot of hard work to do. Thanks to ISB family, its
opportunity and perfect support this way will be more
smooth, productive and amusing, for all that is giving me
positive thinking, strength and motivation to continuously
develop, learn and achieve new goals and milestones in
my carrier together with ISB.
