            Bichon Havaianas

The Bichon Havaianas is a dog who loves to travel,
discover new things and above all always be with his
family. Cheerful and lively, he is a great playful both
with other animals and with the children he is in love
            with.
The Bichon Havaianas is a cheerful and lively com-
panion dog, not very suspicious of strangers with
whom he is immediately at ease. Also suitable for the
company of the little ones, the breed is affectionate
            and very festive.
The Bichon Havanais is a rather sturdy small dog that
is long rather than tall. It has short limbs and abun-
dant and soft wavy hair that covers the whole body.
The origins of the Bichon Havanais are somewhat
controversial. More certain information establishes the
origin of the dog on the Spanish and Italian coasts,
from here it was boarded on ships for the island of
Cuba. Mistakenly, the name and color lead one to be-
lieve that it is originally from Havana. From Cuba
today the dog has almost completely disappeared,
some smuggled specimens survive today in the
            United States.
